I love Xmas movies. Especially those that are on Channel 5 in the afternoon (British viewers will understand). In fact one of my favourite all time movies is "Will You Merry Me?", which I have recorded on all my families SKY Q boxes. "Will you merry me?" Is an amazingly culturally insensitive yet family friendly movie that a lot will not get. Most of my family don't. But my wife brought it for me in DVD and I was really happy, and I was genuinely happy.
As you can see, I've not made any reference to Merry eX-mas yet because firstly it is not really a Christmas movie and secondly it is barely a movie. The premise may be good - xmas wedding, a green card and a Ghostbuster - the fact is you can't put fish, a strawberry and some cheese into a blender and expect a good outcome. In the end they all get married.
