Gorgeous and empty, just like the false world depicted. About as insightful as a music video. I appreciated some of the acting, especially the impeccable star, Florence Pugh. Chris Pine is about as menacing as a tree stump. Harry Styles seems game, but hasn't the chops. Ultimately it wants to be respected like your favorite "Black Mirror" episode, but insults your intelligence by taking three times as long to hammer home a premise you could grasp in the first five minutes. I loved the original score, but the chosen period music gives the feeling of eating cold fries in an empty Johnny Rockets.
