Warning: Spoilers
Judge Stones' staff are all curious about his actual age, so they get a pool started. When Lana makes an inquiry, she ends up with Harry's criminal record instead. This could prove to be damaging if the information ends up in the hands of a slimeball journalist such as Al Craven (the top character actor Terry Kiser, in his first appearance in the role). Meanwhile, Harry oversees the trial of a groom-to-be (Joey Aresco) who went berserk in a church when he realized that his bride (Judy Landers) had once posed nude for a mens' magazine.

Plenty of good laughs abound in this engaging third episode, with the regular cast members all settling nicely into their roles. Dan, in particular, is now showing the early signs of the full-fledged horny sleazeball that *he* would evolve into over the series' run. Much humor also is mined from the presence of a muck-raker like Craven, with the hilarious Kiser often uttering a creepy chuckle after reciting a line. One of the best bits involves him trying to avoid the intimidating presence of Bull, who has no tolerance for a character like Craven. Some good throwaway lines come from Barney Martin as a bum currently hanging around the court. Best of all is Harry's heartfelt admission of his crime - an impulsive act committed while he was a teenager - and the way his fathers' utter disappointment had a profound and lasting effect on him.

Good fun for 'Night Court' fans, with a very appropriate ending.

Eight out of 10.
