Warning: Spoilers
With all the radical, political, depressing, controversial, and head scratching storylines this show could have had some hope. Actors jumping ship which is understandable because of the poorly written storylines. It's ok to say NO to family members moving back in. It's worth one's sanity to have their own space. The grandpa and the 2 sons were probably my favorite characters. The mom is wishy washy and certainly needs a long far away vacation mainly due to her faking it to make it as mom of the year. The dad needs a set of balls to tell his adult kids to grow up and let him and his wife enjoy their later years. The daughter is seeking love in all the wrong places and ends up, with addiction issues and with not one but 2 u understandably regretful abortions. One abortion wasn't enough writers? The baby (or unwanted babies) didn't fit in her timeline to be a parent. Too bad for the baby storyline early on til later in the series where she doesn't terminate her offspring. Sex with Tom, Dick and Harry was great for her tho. Grandpa grieving his wife is heart tugging but not as pursued as other storylines. The neighbor is like a lost puppy just trying to love an older woman, his roommates moms friend. And the nurse didn't fit the part and was forgettable. Overall, not a show worth many stars. The actors did their parts and are better off on a prime time drama series with classic and talented writers. Blame game here goes to the writers. Epic, fail.
