Womanising crime-fighter Ryô Seaba (Chan) is assigned to track down a Japanese heiress and his investigations lead him to a sea-bound ocean liner. However, once on-board, our intrepid hero finds he has more to contend with than a simple kidnapping case - the liner is about to be hijacked by terrorists and he is the only man who can foil their dastardly plot.
Loosely based on the City Hunter anime, this Jackie Chan starrer presents a live action movie with a 90's cartoon feeling. It's full of slapstick humour, saucy jokes, and wacky ideas- there's not much hair-raising stunts but it's watchable, though sometimes it's wackiness can be tiring. Liked the setting on the ship. Gary Daniels and Richard Norton make good adversary to Jackie. The fight scene in the cinema which has Bruce Lee on screen from the film Game of Death; Jackie gets ideas of defeating his foe by checking out Bruce's move. It marks a homage to Bruce Lee. Plenty of hot babes!!
