I like these series in general because of it's unique view to issues and because it is very realistic and raw, but this episode was just nonesense.
First of all, the fact that an 18-year old can throw away $50,000 to get back at her parents is insane. These people are so privliged and have no clue what is happening outside their little bubble.
Why were the parents so proud of her for throwing away all the money? I just dont get it. She did something so reckless and stupid, and just because now they volunteer at their local shelter, they all feel so good and wholesome.
Feels like an insult to all the less privileged people out there honestly.
