We have all been WIngfeather Fans since the very beginning of the book series, and it has been a LONG seven-year wait for the animated series, but it was WORTH IT! We loved every second! The beautiful painting-like backgrounds behind every scene, the unique animated style that makes it stand out from all other animation on offer, the spot-on voice acting casting (Leeli is adorable, Tink is contagious, Janner is a perfect blend of earnest worried big-brotherness, Podo sounds like the tough grandfather he is, Nia sounds strong and nurturing at the same time, and the Fangs are AWESOMELY gross and slithery-sounding!). We especially loved spotting all of the story-seeds sown, in even just the very FIRST episode, of the powerful, redemptive themes and character arcs to come! Outstandingly excellent performance from Chris Wall, Andrew Peterson and their incredible team - WAY TO GO everyone, and we are on tenterhooks for Episode 2!!
