I really wanted to like it but it just doesn't deliver. A good cast, high production values, a story that's nothing new but meant to be fun. The acting's okay and the main character, Clara, is gorgeous, but without giving anything away, there's a couple of face-palmingly contrived scenes and dumb plot devices, and Clara makes so many assumptions and dramatic over-reactions that poison her potential relationship that you just want to give her a time-out and tell the guy to run away.
I don't think it would take a lot to make this a better movie, but I'm not sure what it would be. Maybe if the characters would just talk instead of reacting.
