Ernie is hopelessly naive or at least in a way he is . Despite being annoyed Lucy and Ricky genuinely like Ernie . Yet he's constantly doing things that set their nerves on edge especially for Ricky. The only thing they think will send him away is according to his mother's warning a real life painted up city woman. Ricky is so desperate he is all for Lucy pretending to be one ( in disguise of course) . The problem?
