Review of A Christmas Wish

I have enjoyed this simple but beautiful film from the first time I watched it on Hallmark in 2011. The writer/director had a vision he captured in poignant yet subtle ways. The cast is a true ensemble and every single actor from the youngest to the oldest contributes to the depth of feeling and pathos of this production. The carefully selected music is also an important ingredient that moves the story along. I am a person of faith and that aspect of this film moves me. As young Mel tells her siblings the Christmas story my heart was deeply touched. The gazebo scene in the park totally overwhelmed my spirit. Thank you Mr Clyde for such a sweet and touching film.
