I happened to video tape this movie upon its release back in the 90's. I'm a big fan of Patty Duke and she didn't disappoint. The movie takes place during the Christmas season. I won't go into details, but I will tell you this move captured my attention and heart. The ending had me weeping like a fool. It's become a family Christmas staple during the holidays season until this year. The video tape finally wore out and tore. There is no DVD available to replace it. I'm sick about it. I came across a video that's available online, but the cost is too expensive. If it ever becomes available in DVD, I will be the first in line to purchase it. I even tried to find it on streaming channels to no avail.
