Pretty darned close to perfect. There are so many subplots set in motion in this one it's hard to keep up with them all. It opens with Walt staring at a painting that looks eerily like the place where he & Jesse first cooked in the RV, and where he will return in a big way in the last few periscopes of the series. Walter & Skyler's divorce & how Walter plays it to his advantage with Walter, Jr. How close Walter was to having a perfect situation working with Gale. Walter's parental instincts with Jesse. Leaves of Grass (Walt Whitman) is introduced. Hank's obsession with Jesse and his inability to be objective where Marie is concerned. The relentless sociopathic homicidal nature of the Salamanca brothers. Walt's full transformation into Heisenberg happens in front of us in this episode. Saul has a half dozen quotable quotes. The writing is perfect, the acting is superb, but the cinematography wins the day-absolutely brilliant.
