If you have a NIGHTCRAWLER shaped hole that needs filling then this just might be your poison. The influence, the homage and the atmosphere is really reminiscent of NIGHTCRAWLER, one of the greatest thriller of all time. Aubrey Plaza plays a superb role effortlessly shifting to the role of an anti-hero, a victim of our time and society. The slow build up sets the tone and it pays off immensely by the end. There isn't really much wrong with it but there also isn't much that stands out. If you're aware of what you're getting into you're going to appreciate this one for what it is, a very good atmospheric thriller like NIGHTCRAWLER.
