Um dos clássicos do cinema, não Tenho palavras pra tamanha obra de arte. Obrigado a matar", by João Amorim (2004) Seriously, I came to this film because of so many memes and scenes exculachachada on social media pages. Some considering "The worst movie ever made". With 43 minutes long, "Obrigado a matar" is a delight to watch, from beginning to end, with bizarre performances, rotten script and non-existent direction, with no notion of cuts in editing or even decoupage. But put that way, it sounds like the movie is pretty bad. Yes, it sucks, but that's its great quality. Who knows the reasons why the director and screenwriter João Amorim made his film so clumsily, maybe even for lack of technical knowledge, but the truth is that the film is too funny and worth being seen with friends, it will be a session at least to make the belly hurt from laughing so much. What you see on the screen is that João Amorim, who also stars, does everything with a lot of love and passion for cinema. He called friends who are not actors and decided to have a big party. The film is shot in Lages, Santa Catarina. João Amorim returns home after months away. He is reunited with his wife and daughter. However, bandits from the region arrive out of nowhere, kill his wife and injure João. Three months later, João has recovered and decides to take revenge. It is impossible to describe here the amount of anthological scenes in this film. Anthological in the sense of being crude. Actors who memorize lines and don't act, dialogs without notion, cuts in editing without clippings, ubiquitous backcountry soundtrack. And for even more fun, João still sings! Don't be embarrassed, the film is a lesson in the love of cinema. Lack of money is no reason not to make movies! João Amorim say so!
