Season 10, Episode 10
Much better than the first Dud Bowl.

Wonders will never cease... a sports-themed episode of MWC featuring an American pro-athlete I have never heard of that I actually thought was funny.

The Kyoto National Bank are buying a new scoreboard for Polk High and want to dedicate it to the school's most successful player. The nominating committee have selected Al as the most likely candidate, but Marcy discovers that Superbowl champion and Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw attended Polk High for two months in 1969, and even though he never actually played football there, she makes sure that the board is dedicated to him. At the unveiling ceremony, Al has arranged for Bud and Jefferson to blow up the scoreboard, unaware that Kelly has told Terry about her father, and he has made sure that the board now bears Al's name...

Consistently good gags (Peggy whispering what she wants to do to Al into his flower microphone, leaving Jefferson and Bud horrified, is hilarious), and a great ending that sees the scoreboard blown sky-high despite a bold effort by Al to stop the explosion, make this one a whole lot of fun. Poor Al, his eyes and ears injured by a pair of cymbals, doesn't even get to hear Bradshaw tell him what a great sportsman he was, and that he could have been a big star in the NFL.
