I thought it was a great episode, but I have some questions. First of all is why young mastermind unlocked Maria'a chains if he is such a psychopath? He seemed like he would be old enough and would have had the pathology to enjoy the torment and the ultimate kill. Two is why did she try to kill him if he was helping her? Why wouldn't she wait to see how far he could help her? Those couple of things didn't make sense to me. Did I miss something? I like that Penelope has an interesting love interest. I would love to see the Spencer character join the cast. I know it's impossible see Hotch again and extremely unlikely that Morgan would appear. Too bad.
