Seems to be a common theme over the last year where comedians feel the need to preach. KoyJoy was no exception. The first half of the show was mediocre leaning heavy on covid masks gags and transitioning into bizzar Philippino culture jokes about his mother cleaning herself after peeing. Then it moved on to his sob story about how Netflix refused to pickup the cost of his first specail. This somehow showed systemic why racism needs to be squashed out. A muti millionaire crying how hard it is for his nationality to succeed falls on deaf ears. To rap things up the show finished up with a rant on how therapy is needed and people should embrace it. Look when I toon into a comedy show I want to laugh and forget about life for a while not be preached too by a mediocre comedian. Pass on this show if you want to laugh.
