Nice to watch a high profile series in Spanish (especially Malaga, a place I'm attached to). However there's various elements which demonstrated that the show was (in my view) average compared to the best of today.
The main actress (or her character) was extremely poor. No dynamic range whatsoever - she looked devoid of all emotion and with a strange kind of permanent scowl / moody expression throughout. It was very hard to be invested in her character at all. On the other hand various other cast members - Amaya's parents for example - were excellent and truly convincing as distraught parents.
The subplots (e.g. Around the neighbour first accused, and his son) came and went very quickly without much exploration or explanation, thus providing no real suspense. The backstory of the main actress (i.e. The attack she suffered) was interwoven into the story but with questionable relevance. Even the title of the show had little relevance to the actual events...
