Warning: Spoilers
This movie was good, it had a different view on the whole kidnapping documentary genre. It focused on the aftermath of the abduction rather than the confinement during it.

Katie Douglas was a great actress with loads of potential for her upcoming career. I also found it noteworthy that her characters thoughts in confinement were mostly calm.

One of the bad parts were the side characters such as the mother, she feels like she's only there to push the agenda that Kara was a victim. Other side characters also didn't have that great of an effect such as her boyfriend, I feel as if he didn't like console enough but that's just a personal gripe. Finally, I feel like Kara didn't have that much grief towards these events, I understand they were trying to push her as a survivor and not a victim. But the best way would be to show her as both.

Overall - 7/10.
