It is a drama after all, it was IMHO well done as a 'quick and dirty' biopic of a man who had significant influence in the US and to some extent globally in politics and 'news / propoganda' explotation. About half way in the series you can see that PC crept into the plot. I do not mean that the fact he was a sleazy manipulator of women should be hidden or condoned. The most disturbing issue in my mind was that a news agency set out to, in effect, stage coup by manipulation of news and media. Disturbing as his effect on women was the effect democracy was IMHO worse. The fact that the emphasis of the program is on the sculilous attitude to women (and that should not be ignored) and NOT the just as sculilous effect on democracy speaks to todays parochial attitudes. But, hey, what do i know....
