It plays up stereotypes on both sides. It could have been a very good award type film if done right but this was basically a straight to video type of movie. It had moments where I thought it might break through then they brought on the villian. I mean really. I mean come on man. You might as well put him in a SS uniform. Then it got sappy and predictable I like a movie like this even though we know what the movie is about and I really thought at start the movie could do some comedy and drama well and then it fell apart and got into that category of movie that will soon be completely forgotten and live somewhere in some streaming vault.
