Went to watch this movie because I'm a fan of rocky. Was sad to see that sylvester stallone wasent involved and you definitely felt his absence but the movie was a fun ride.
First and most importantly Jonathan Majors was the best thing about this movie. I continued to be impressed by his acting abilities. The range on this guy is ridiculous. I watched Ant man, devotion and lovecraft recently and this guy doesn't play the same way ever. His range is just magestic, it's not a surprise he is in 3 different blockbusters this year. The way he made me feel sorry for Damian in the dinner without knowing the full story is insane. His acting is beyond and I'm looking forward to watching more of him. I even forgot the movie is about creed and was team Damian all the way.
Onto the plot, I found the plot great. I know it's moving away from Rocky, but they can't follow the same theme for ever. The directorial debut for Michael B Jordan is also great. He lacked a bit on some scenes but overall was a success, to be his first movie it was kinda great. Not to mention his great acting skills, he never disappoints in movies.
The soundtrack was insane too, I wish we could have had something like this in Black Panther. Love the editing and the pase of the movie. Saw some reviews of people saying it was too short but I thought it deliver the message and it was not boring at all.
Giving me a 9/10 for the cinematography but it's a great watch.
