The storytelling felt very wrong. It was not bad, not really, but it felt more like a walk through the sidequests in Witcher 3 before going to bed. For the sole purpose of not starting some important main quests, but still doing something at least mildly entertaining to kill some time. The only thing missing would be looting of the dead crocodile thing and going through the pirates' belongings.
The visit to Bo-Katan felt like a brief zoom call. They could literally have exchanged a couple of messages on space telegram and be done with it. It's not that it was unrealistic, or unnnatural. On contrary even, it felt way too realistic and awkward, and i could almost hear Mando thinking "I should have just texted her..."
I hope the next episodes won't end up like this one.
