I should have given the review of this classic Mr. Bean around New Year's as the episode released nearly thirty years ago. I had to re-watch the whole episode as I first memorize the part 2 of it. I did watch a deleted scene in which Bean tampers with the wiring of a reclining chair and it sandwiching an elderly woman sitting on it. This episode had several hilarious moments yet haven't watched much the episode.
As New Years is imminent, Mr. Bean is excited as usual - bit like he was in Christmas episode. Somehow, he has two male companions named Hubert and Rupert and they don't seem to enjoy what Bean has planned. They made a quick plan in getting away from Bean until it is he's in bed he been tricked.
Part 2 has the memorable iconic moments of Bean steering his car whilst sitting in an armchair strapped on the roof of his Mini, and when he makes a blast of painting with a large firecracker.
