Star of Texas (1953)
Expose scheme in a western
14 March 2023
The expose scheme is usually shown in crime films, describing with great accuracy the criminal activities of mafia or any gang, with an off voice to explain what really happens. Here, the elements are different but the method the same. I suppose it is inspired by actual events. Why not? But I am not a big fan of this kind of material; it's just unusual that's all. I don't think there are many of this way of presenting, telling a western story, and I am glad that it is so rare. But it remains an acceptable time waster, where dialogues are not galore at all; most of the talking is thru the off voice. See the picture, see what I mean? A movie giving tribute to Texas Rangers.
