Jiva! (2021–2023)

Predictable story but has its moments
17 March 2023
I love music, moving and watching people dance. I didn't know what to expect out of a South African dance movie.. but this movie didn't really showcase the dancing aspect very well in my opinion ..

Some of it looked amateurish, the camera angles and lighting made it really hard to really see the moves or choreo when they were performing ..it looked like they were just messing around at some points.. even though there's million rand at stake..

Sometimes the dialogue/ talking script also seemed so one dimensional.. I found myself zoning out. However the plot is actually decent! Wardrobe, personalities and caramaderie is lively... Everytime Ntombi came on screen my jaw dropped at what she was wearing. It's one of those shows you already know what will happen so didn't need many episodes.
