If you have a lot of little tykes scurrying around underfoot, the longer leprechaun live-action feature films tend to be too frightening to soothe youngsters to serene slumber. Some of these theatrical releases are downright horror flicks. How scary is this THE LEPRECHAUN? True, a vulture belonging to the sea witch incapacitates popular protagonist good guy Popeye. Furthermore, a major felony takes place, and an innocent crime victim is cast out from his society. But regular patrons of this series will surmise that things will turn out well, and their expectations are reasonable.
