I have no really idea what's going on here.
The story is really easy and has no real need to use your brain to think about it. All plot twists (lol) are too obvious. The character development went downhill.
Why is shazam adult version behaves a lot more like a kid than billy? As just one excample for a bad story/character development.
The humor was ok, maybe sometimes over the top.
The product placement for skittles is so obvious and annoying.
That one of the characters is suddendly gay, well ok if it makes any real sense or is plot related somehow. Just showing him looking at a muscular shirtless football guy and by the end of the movie, just yelling out, that he is gay, makes no real sense to me. It seems like just adding a character to be gay for gay reasons.
In the end it's just a forgetable movie you won't ever watch again.
