Luigi's Mansion (2001) Very fun but very repetitive
3 April 2023
Could a spin-off focusing on the Luigi character really turn out to be something good? This is certainly a very good idea that took a while to realize, but perhaps it was released at the right time. Some commands and even the game's graphics would not have been well done in another era. That's what makes this game good, its graphic quality and controls. However, in my opinion, Luigi's Mansion lacks a lot in its rhythm because it is a medium-length game, but it ends up becoming very repetitive over time because it is always the same thing. The game is really fun, but if you start focusing too much on what's going on, you'll realize that it's just Luigi entering a new room to eliminate small ghosts and a boss to get a key and do this again and again. This does not mean that the game is bad, but it is a negative point that does not make it reach the level of other games in the Mario Bros franchise, for example.
