"The Coming of Sin" is in my view a nicely evocative title for what's going on here. However, IMHO, "The Violation of the Bitch" is far too crass and inaccurate. I'm not sure whether it was sanctioned by the director, or dreamt up by some controversy-hunting marketing department - in any case, it's a shame.
However, as with other difficult-to-find and somewhat-controversial fare, it's nice that this is now more easily available (via Arrow), presumably in an unmangled format. Even better, it doesn't disappoint. Unlike many "home/idyll invasion" films, here Lorna displays a large degree of tolerance of her invaders without coming across as particularly naive, which shows a nice ambiguity, I feel. Similarly, Triana is neither wholly grateful nor entirely petulant. Others have criticised their acting but I find it intriguing that neither seem to have gone on to do anything else, given their performances here.
In any case, plenty of weirdness is on show along with the nakedness, plus a nice bit of flamenco.
