(1968) The Ruthless Four/ Ognuno per sé DUBBED SPAGHETTI WESTERN

It opens with Sam(Van Hefflin) promising his partner to come back to him with his share just as he sets out to leave for town, his partner feels greedy and decides to kill him for all of it. And after Sam succeeded into blowing up his partner, with dynamite left behind in a mine shaft, despite himself unarmed in hand, he is then trekking across the desert in hopes of finding some water. And by the time he found some, he then gets himself knocked unconscious by some bandits robbed him of his horse along with some of his belongings, oblivious to the bandits that some of those so-called bags the bandits had dropped to the ground were bagfuls of gold in it. So, before he walks into town, he decides to bury some of those bags and once he reaches there he collapses to the ground, before he was discovered by an old female acquaintance who works at a brothel. He tells her he is in search for a new partner, as his previous partner attempted to double cross or stab him in the back, this time he sends a telegraph for the son he has not seen in years. We find out his son's name is Manolo Sanchez (George Hilton) who lives in Denver Colorado. And upon Manolo's arrival, and they becomes accustomed with each other, the Klaus Kinski comes into town, viewers are oblivious what Manolo's connection is with him. Being slightly untrustworthy once Sam finds out that the Klaus Kinski character named Brent is coming along with him, Sam decides to bring with him an old rival named Mason ( Gilbert Roland)

It's nice to see long time movie veteran, Van Hefflin acting with an unique set up that is not involved a heck of a lot gun fights but about the characters.
