Gideon looks into the two year old death of a Clerk at a construction site, the co owner does all he can to cover things up, and bribe another clerk, one that knows too much.
Truly this is another high quality episode from this excellent series. Your attention is very quickly grabbed by that very nasty scene involving Michael Robbins and a kettle of hot water, that was a very bleak moment indeed.
I loved how gritty it was, is it just me, or does this whole show seem to be morphing into something a bit heavier, a bit tougher as it progresses. The villains here, were pretty nasty, you wouldn't want to cross any of them.
The fight scenes looked great, they were pretty realistic looking. One brief moment of humour, where Gideon sees Matthew dancing with his latest flame.
Great acting, terrific cast, Victor Maddern, Glyn Houston and Michael Robbins were all excellent.
Hopefully the rest of the series is along these lines.
