The film looks and sounds really nice. The effects are convincing and interesting adding to the movie. The gore is good, maybe not the best in the series but still a high level of bloody gore. Expectedly for this franchise it is more of the same but levitated the formula with a better than average ending. The characters were almost all dislikeable but interesting and held my attention to the end. The deaths were creative. This is a big improvement over part 4 and in the same league as the original trilogy. It was an enjoyable film with a strong ending. Certainly worth spending your time and concentration on.
