Review of Chapter 24: The Return

This show gets more beautiful and compelling every season. The story-telling is amazing, the character development is exciting, because Din Djarin and Grogu grow in every episode and their relationship becomes stronger. In this third series John Favreau focused more on the Mandalorians and their journey to take back their planet that was raided by the Empire. At times Din Djarin seems more a side character, but I really liked the fact that creators were giving space to other matters expanding the lore. He and Grogu were already at the very center of the show in the first two seasons, plus they appeared on "The Book of Boba Fett", therefore I do not have any complaint. The action sequences are just epic, the CGI and the stunts are always on point. The narration is at times slow paced and the series takes sometimes to deepen secondary storylines that will eventually intertwine with the main plot. The most beautiful thing is that during these three years, "The Mandalorian" always stayed faithful to the original work developed by George Lucas, at least in style and editing.

The Star Wars universe at this moment is in really good shape. I can easily forgive what Disney did to the latest trilogy. It was an accident and it can happen. "The Mandalorian" is heads down the best product of the franchise that was released in recent years, but if you want to catch up, there are several other series that you can retrieve on Disney Plus. If the future of this franchise relies entirely on TV shows of this quality, I am completely down with it, just keep it coming.
