I think an audible "huh?" Is definitely called for here. This was definitely the weakest season so far of Mando. It wasn't outright terrible, but it left a lot to be desired. The same can be said for this episode.
The Darksaber just gets destroyed by a fist closing? All of Gideon's clones just die instantly? No major reveals or plot twists? They definitely played it safe. It would seem they didn't go the "inspirational" route, but more the "fill in the boxes" route; if that makes sense.
I really liked the ending though. It sets us up for how season 1 started. Din and Mando on rag tag missions together. I also like how Grogu is starting to become an independent character. I'm still waiting for his first words though.
The Mandalorians uniting and flying in unison with their jetpacks was a cool sight too.
Overall, it left a lot to be desired, but it wasn't bad by any stretch.
