The film started and ended with David and Niels in lockstep on the racing track. This was a nice image for their agreement of minds and bodies even though one was straight and the other gay.

I profoundly disagree with one of the other reviewers about how being gay is readily accepted everywhere. Even in the most liberal of schools, gayboy is used as an insult. Gay pupils are ostracised and victimised. This short film reflected that reality and moreover, did it convincingly. Fortunately, the ending was optimistic.
