She actually used the top secret night phone to call him up for a chat? And he didn't immediately hang up and call her on his cell phone? This is terrible writing.
The first episode was a passable 6-7 out of 10 but the second episode really derails the plot and shows a lack of interest in realism with this spy plot. The main character actually sleeps on a couch near the oval office and no secret service move him on or ask him what he's doing there?
I won't spoil who the main villain probably is but the writing is so transparent that it's clear to see with 8 episodes to go.
Basically if by the second episode this is losing you I wouldn't blame you.
