So this series likes to think it's progressive and a bit feminist but it really really isn't. We have a female ambassador (played very demonstratively by Keri Russell) who rants a lot and only wears black suits, she weighs about 40 kilos but eats loads of croissants and other fatty foods. She absolutely doesn't want to wear dresses especially the red ones...Whoops but that's only pretend cause inside she's really cinderella and so she turns up at the ball wearing a long RED dress.... Arrgh SO banale and cliché, and there are a huge amount of such clichés sprinkled throughout this series. Call the script police please!
