Hysterical! I can't count the times I just laughed out loud.

I came into this film totally blind...and enjoyed every minute of it, from the Weird Al opening to the end credit's "let's misbehave". The casting was great from Michael Keaton's eyebrow arching Johnny Dangerously to Dom Deluise's Pope!

This was a comical take on a 1930's gangster story told in retrospect by a pet shop owner to a kid he catches trying to steal a puppy. The costumes were great, the sets were fun and the one liners just kept coming. I actually laughed out loud during several sequences.

I highly recommend this comedy to comedy fans. Marilu Henner's Lil Sheridan was gorgeous and I don't think I have every seen her so young.

Danny Devito was fun as a crooked DA, Peter Boyle is fantastic as the original gangster, Maureen Stapleton is comedy gold as the mom who swings both ways, Alan Hale Jr was a surprise as the desk Sargent,Ray Walston is the perpetually suffering local vendor...but the scene stealer was the English butchering Moroni.

"I am handicapped. I'm psychotic!"

Check this film out if you are looking for a good laugh.
