10/10
Authentic, engaging, purposeful

GOL displays the realities of "the streets" and in many ways i found it relatable and could almost point to similar characters in Lagos today.

The economic divergence, the hopes and dreams of every youth, the importance of mentorship (Nino to young Oba), the bond of family (the ones we choose and the ones we are given)

The value in reaching back to support the dreams of young dreamers who may not see a way out of the circumstance that was handed to them. I could go on...

Overall, I liked the depth of the main characters. The storyline was simple, logical and had no plot holes. As a big fan of organized crime movies, TV shows and documentaries, I highly recommend this movie.
