A spinning carousel (of flying horses) of both emotions and plot twists!

Warning: Spoilers
One of the top 15 movies I've ever seen. Stephen Schnetzer is my favorite soap opera star - I watched another world 2x through (1989-1992 :) - once back then and re-watching now.

As I am a "fabulaus Autastic," I'm grateful that my dear, sweet, perfect current wife was there to share the "see-saw" of emotions with me; and, to explain the themes to me after the movie credits.

After watching this heartbreaking film twice in two days, I'm okay with not knowing whether Amelia was real or imagined. What really got me, though, was when my current spouse said (after my 73 questions) "He has Alzheimer's." I immediately started to cry. I took in all the feels at that moment and reviewed all the major theological / philosophical questions of life as I do every three months ;).

Definitely, this film is a "see-saw" of emotions (on that melancholy and whimsical "note," thank you Adriel for a beautiful, subtle soundtrack. I curiously wonder if this movie has a director's cut, as some plot turns (subtle with a capital "B" I like to call it) were a little quick for my brain to process. It's okay, though, I can simply enjoy this theatrical release again :).

I'm overjoyed that this movie has legs - filming started in 2018 and finished in 2020. It's now 2023 - it's still timeless and relevant :). I am so grateful for both Stephen and the entire cast and crew. Good work, thank you.

PS, I tried my darnedest to pretend this was Cass Winthrop, so I decided to call Richard Flicker's wife "Kathleen" and Amelia / Marcy "Franky." You're welcome.

10/10.
