I like how the film started slowly and the pace picked up gradually with unexpected events coming up and the characters layers being revealed bit by bit. I thought it's a movie about demonetisation but there is much more to it. Don't miss this one. Especially the killer second half. Kudos to the director and his team. The film is shot with a guerrilla filmmaking technique that makes it look like a documentary. The actors are natural and believable, especially Neethu Shetty and Prathap Kumar who play pivotal roles. The film also has some surprising twists that will shock and amaze you. 1888 is a film that deserves your attention and appreciation.
