Growing up in the 80's... this movie was LIFE! It was absolutely AMAZING and I watched it dozens of times as a kid. Then I let 35 years go by before I watched it again in May of 2023 as an adult.
Other than the nostalgia I once had for for this movie... it is a complete and total pile of dog crap lol. This is an hour and a half of my life I'll never get back. This was absolutely painful to get through.
I'm not sure how something so good can turn so terribly bad but then again... this movie certainly aged like milk! Acting was God awful, plot was junk, the fighting was laughable and the sets could have been made in my backyard.
The ONLY good thing about this movie was Tanya Roberts... and The Beastmaster totally tried to leave her high and dry without even testing the goods.
