What a strange episode!

This episode has a good start and it seems like the show has some potential. I was definitely curious about the storyline of the inmate who solves cases. I don't know what's the story behind him killing his wife and sure it doesn't sound very realistic. It's like the journalist asked, why him? Why would people come to him? He isn't the only smart person in the world so why? And how do they even find him? I think it could have worked better if the cases had come from a detective or something like that but even if it's not very realistic I was still intrigued. The cast is definitely good so I was willing to give it a chance.

With that said, the story of the vicar turned quite ridiculous really really fast!! It was so bizarre that it felt like I was suddenly watching a parody. What was that?? The concept that anyone of us can become a murderer under the right circumstances is actually pretty good but not like that. These specific circumstances are both unnatural and ridiculous. Both the vicar and the math tutor didn't act like normal people!! Now, I haven't seen the second episode but assuming that the journalist is bringing the case of her missing friend (because she received a blurry picture from her and now she isn't answering the phone) is even more ridiculous!

I don't know what to think of this show. This episode was so bizarre I might actually continue to watch just to see if I'm missing something.
