I grew up watching the Enteng Kabisote quadrilogy and as I start to give it a rewatch from a storytelling standpoint and this movie is the better film in the franchise. This movie excels at communicating what happens when fame and glory takes over an individual whose pride precedes their fall.
Though the visual effects are outdated, it's plot and the protagonist's (Enteng) arc throughout the movie is evident. This is his movie; this is about his character and how his wit and pride affects the people he loves in a tragic way. His journey throughout the film taught him gratitude and responsibility.
I recommended watching this movie if you are looking for a fleshed out character and something to watch during family movie nights. This is movie is far from perfect, but it is watchable in comparison to most Filipino fantasy-comedy movies we see today.
