Not even close to the real story
18 May 2023
I knew the guy who pretended to be prince, story is not even close, guy was not handsome, he was not charming, he didn't have girlfriend. And he took his mom with him. But it is fiction based on the real life events.

I walked passed him in Essellen street in Sunnyside in the 1990s, and as soon as I walked up to him to greet him, he physically turned his nose up, made a slight sidway gesture, and walked on as if he didn't know me. He was with his mother.

The fact that he was actually on foot and not being driven around with a bodyguard should have given the hotel a clue as to what was going on.

Nevertheless, it was a simpler happier time when social media didn't exist.

It was only later that I discovered what he was up.

Movies sell on stories, and an exaggerated story is better than real life.
