Becca and Rosaline each receive a phone call, explaining that their mother Mary has died, Becca is puzzled to learn that her mother was on The Isle of Man, and not in Wales as she had tried to convince her.
Something a little different, after another run of procedural crime dramas and detective shows, it was so nice to see something a little different from the norm.
Not quite melodrama, but definitely a family drama the rival sisters have to put their differences to one side, and learning what exactly their mother was up to.
From the very off, you get the impression of sibling rivalry, even in adult years, some siblings just don't get on, this was superbly realised by Suranne Jones and Eve Best, they were equally great, so well cast as sisters.
Wonderful to see the legendary Stockard Channing, but the real star of the show was the place, a glorious, eye watering location.
Well I thoroughly enjoyed it, I hope the rest is as good as this.
