Well made and informative.

I was particularly interested in this documentary as I live quite close to the Strait of Gibraltar, well only a couple hours by car. The Costa del Sol in Andalucia is very praised by tourists for its perpetual good weather but it also attracts gangsters from various nationalities. In La Línea: La Sombra del Narco it's mostly Spanish and Morrocans drug traffickers as the two countries are only seperated by a small piece of sea. I've never been a big fan of police, certainly not the trigger happy cowboys from the USA, but in this case you kind of feel sorry for the cops here, that try to keep the streets clean and it's not an easy job. The documentary shows their battle against the drug lords, against a population that benefit from the trafficking, in a city where unemployment is very high and where the temptation to make a lot of money is big. It's well made and is worth watching, certainly if you live in Spain and want to understand what is going on in La Línea.
