Alice in Wonderland adaptations had been done to death, with all kind of versions, from light-hearted stuff (Such as the Disney movie from 1951) to much darker, horror-like takes (The Jan Svankmajer version, for example)
Despite the title, this is not so much an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland as much as a little surreal short using some elements from Through the Looking-Glass as a motif (In the similar manner Are We Still Married and Can't Go Wrong Without You used some Alice motifs in them)
Personally, I liked a lot. This can be easily seen as another part of the Stille Nach series.
