So much potential
15 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The idea and concept of the story was great, but they wasted the potential of the game. I think it had to do with the PlayStation VITA, and they clearly thought finishing this project by Christmas was more important than making a good game.

I think it would've been better if there was just more time spent on the game, and probably adding a slightly longer campaign. It isn't just the glitches and how the graphics don't hold up over time, but the story clearly could've been incredible, and it just wasn't told very well. It would've been awesome seeing how Aveline became an assassin instead of automatically, cut to 12 years later, woopdy doo shes an assassin. Plus (BIG SPOILERS HERE BE CAREFUL) she's supposed to end turning into a Templar, which is crazy all on its own but there's some much to explore there, like what could truly make an assassin become a templar? The story needed better communication, it had all the potential to be a great story and they just didn't tell it well for whatever reason. Not to mention the setting of New Orleans was cool, plus the Bayou, but the graphics just didn't have a lot of care. Everything about this game sounds good, but when you play the actual game you're disappointed. There was even a new concept they explored with outfits affecting how the environment and npc's react to you, but there just wasn't enough effort put into the game to make it all work.

I know I'm repeating myself, but I just wish Ubisoft put more time into this project. So much lost potential.
